One last one from last Sundays London Photowalk. This one is off a derelict tyre fitters a number of us visited. The police turned up fairly quickly and stopped the photographic fun, but not before I had taken this shot.

So, today was camera club night and we were to do some still life studio work under lights. Daily photo in the bag I thought. Well…photos were taken and it was an enjoyable evening, but I thought I’d spare you the mince pies, holly and Christmas crackers that we photographed.

Things are now starting to build up for me. Work is getting pretty busy, I’m doing this 366 project, I’m entering my first competition in the Bishops Stortford Camera Club and, today, I start work on the IDM Certificate of Digital Marketing. This year will be a year of learning!

The London Photowalk visited the Olympic Village in London today. Not much to photograph if you don’t like building sites. There was this strange structure near the main Olympic stadium which caught the eye. I have no idea what it is – whether it’s London’s answer to Beijing’s Birds Nest,

I finally got out and about today and drove across to Berners Roding and had a look at the semi-derelict church there that I have photographed before. I took a walk across the fields to shoot the sunset which was OK, but nothing spectacular, I turned round to head back

I made this picture for my 365 Project but didn’t use it in the end, but I really like it and thought it would be a shame if it didn’t see the light of day. There may have been a little pastry burning involved 😉

Having had a few days of dreadful weather, today was beautiful sunshine all day. My plan was to pop out from work at lunchtime and go down to the River Stort to take some pictures…work had other plans for me though. So, back home I had a couple of ideas
