I’ve been poorly. Whilst taking Sunday’s photograph I started to feel a bit…odd… I’d not felt quite right for an hour so and I started to get a bit light/fuzzy headed. I headed home, had a pleasant evening and went to bed. Took the Jess out for a walk in
A similar shot to Friday’s image, but this time using the fisheye lens to achieve the bend in the trees to produce the effect of them bending over to create a shield. I was fortunate to find the sheep’s skull whilst I was looking for the right stand of trees…not
A bit of a throw away grab shot today – one of our kitchen knives taken with a macro lens.
Taken with my fish eye lens, although you wouldn’t necessarily know that from looking at the picture. This wasn’t quite the image I was looking for here, I’m hoping to get that in the next day or two…weather willing!
I crossed the border into England today…but saw the light and stepped back across into Scotland for today’s photograph. This view is literally about 10 yards inside Scotland. I might try and make a series out of this, maybe taking shots just inside both countries.. maybe a set of tryptics
I spent an hour or so off and on playing with this very abstract image. It’s made up of 3 original shots mushed together to come up with this final piece. I like it and that’s all that matters really! Here’s a gentler, early version of the image which certainly
I dug the old light table out and had a go at some flat lay photography. I need to get it set up on a table rather than doing it on the floor – the poor old back was not up to bending over the light table for long periods.
We’re in catch up mode (most of the time at the moment), so don’t expect long blog posts about the pictures at the moment, at least I’m getting the shots taken every day! Here’s another Primula from our garden – I think it’s a different type to the Primula shown
I played around with a light wand and a crystal ball this afternoon to come up with this small series of colourful images.
