Following on from yesterday’s post, here’s a shot of the lock at Parndon Mill on the River Stort.
This is Lamb neck fillet which we used for our Lamb Curry tonight – I was really taken with the juicyness and redness of the meat. The curry was excellent 😉

Just down the road from where I work in Harlow is Parndon Mill on the River Stort. I took advantage of a break in the weather during lunchtime and got down there for 45 minutes. Here’s one of the pictures:
Staying in Aythorpe Roding this shot was again taken at sunrise last Saturday…and yes, it really was as cold as it looks!
There are usually Thornton’s Chocolates floating around the house, especially after Christmas. So what better way to round the day of than a Thornton’s Diplomat and a cup of coffee.
I have driven past this pub twice a day Monday to Friday for the past 8 years…and still not been inside. I have also wanted to photograph this pub…but not from this angle…for some time. Still, this isn’t too bad an angle.

Wow – what a day – very nearly missed posting today, what with getting home from work to find one of our cats was very poorly and having to take him first to our local vets in Dunmow and then to the emergency vet in Saffron Walden…then rushing back to
Debbie always has knitting on the go…usually 2 or 3 projects at least, and can often include crochet pieces. So today’s picture is of one of those projects, recently started, I have no idea what it is yet.
