057-365v4 When A Photo becomes a Purse

My wife runs her own business – The Crimson Rabbit where she makes all sorts of hand sewn, knitted, crotched goods that she sells all over the world. She asked me if she could use one of my photographs to make a fabric to use for her coin purses, which I or course agreed to.

She had picked a recent blue tit shot which we then took over to Spoonflower where, afetr a bit of faffing about we uploaded the design and it was printed onto fabric to be used for her coin purses. The fabric arrived yesterday and Debbie made this first purse today.

As a bit of a trial I have tried to produce a different style of shot than I would normally do for this product…but I don’t think it works particularly well, but that’s down to me, not the quality of the purse which is brilliant as always.

If you are interested you can purchase all sorts of things, including Coin Purses from Debbie on here Folksy shop here and her Etsy shop here. The Blue Tit purse will be added to her shop in the next few days.
