016-365v4 How to Spike Your Hair

This lovely Blue Tit was busy moving back and forth to one of our feeding areas and he settled in this Maple tree to finish his seed and then sort out his hair.

I love the colour pallet on this shot, it’s not the usual colour pallet that we get from our back garden. We had snow first thing in the morning, but that had turned to rain when I took this shot and the snow was fairly quickly disappearing, so I assume this had something to do with it. Anyhow, I enjoyed catching this tit spiking his hair and decided to create this triptych out of the images.
