This is from my first visit to Parndon Mill earlier this month. This is one of the moorings on the River Stort.
We visited Rowney Woods today, unfortunately it was incredibly grey and dull and the photos taken showed that all to well. So let’s step back to the 28th December of last year when we saw this sunset and moonrise as we left the woods.
You may have seen my images from the Leez Lodge Lake here. Well the below lake is not far from these. Turns out that they are in fact private and I got asked to leave! Mind you, they were about to start blasting away with their shotguns at the local
Today was the first time I’ve been asked to leave somewhere whilst photographing something. Seems I had wandered onto private land and I needed to leave before the shooting started (the ducks, not me).
As part of my 365 project I visited the River Stort at Parndon Mill again today, but instead of walking towards Parndon Mill I went the opposite way and headed for Burnt Mill where the Train Station is. It was a pleasant enough walk, though not the most attractive as

Staying in Aythorpe Roding this shot was again taken at sunrise last Saturday…and yes, it really was as cold as it looks!
