Doctors Pond in Great Dunmow is just down the road from where I live and so I get to photograph it quite often. I was particularly pleased with how today’s early morning 5 shot HDR came out.

You know, you’ve got to keep an eye on those trees, turn your back on them for a moment and they’ll be off across the fields… That must have been the conversation when these trees were given their own enclosure in the Deer Park at Chatham Hall in Great Waltham,
Continuing my walk down the River Stort at Roydon I came across this lock with a number of long boats lined up.
Heading away from Harlow towards Hoddestone is a small, old village called Roydon which appears in the Doomsday Book. The River Stort flows through the village. As it was such a nice day today I headed there this lunchtime and made this HDR photograph of the river and narrow boats.

I visited Little Leighs on Sunday and set off for a short walk while I waited for the sun to set over the lake there. After half an hour I’d gone to far to get back so ploughed on for Chatham Hall…which was a good mile further away than I

I visited (amongst other places) Little Leighs this afternoon and, as I was walking down the lane this chap drove past me.
