You’ve heard of a bird in the hand…well here’s a Sparrow in the tree…doesn’t have the same ring to it really 😉
Every year we have an evening of burning wire wool and creating spark pictures with the Bishop’s Stortford Camera Club. I saw this treatment pretty quickly because it reminded me of The Specials AKA 7″ cover for their single The Boiler…
I always think that I’ll spend a bit of time on these sort of anniversary shots like the 250th shot of the year…I always either don’t realise it’s the anniversary or I simply don’t have the time or opportunity to get a good shot…rather like today.

I was wandering up to our local polling station to exercise my constitutional right when I noticed the little playground was empty. I’ve photographed this playground before – a long time ago, and I was pondering whether I could use this again for a shot when I noticed this abandoned
A nice abstract from oil and water…when I next do this I will ensure I get the lens square to the surface of the water which will keep the oil drops in better focus. More images after the break:
That’s it, I’ve had enough…I’ve seen more bluebells this year than I have in the rest of my life put together and I’m officially bored of them now…for at least the next 11 months anyway!
