Tonight’s Camera Club trip was to go and stake out a couple of badger sets out in the Essex countryside. We split into two groups and made our way to our allocated sets. We saw nothing…except our each other for the couple of hours we staked out the area. The

Is it a hoverfly, is it a sawfly, is it something else? I don’t know, but the flower is definitely a yellow iris. Seen in Widdington today

After all the excitement yesterday I really wasn’t up to much today, especially as I had a load of product photography to do in the morning. By the time we got out for a walk around Garnets Wood we were too tired to do much more than walk around it…so

I’ve been wondering whether we would get any goslings on Doctors Pond this year, the ducks have produced, the moorhens have produced…and finally we have goslings!

These little pests are munching there way through our Rosemary, Thyme and Sage at the moment. The best way of getting rid of them is to pick them off by hand apparently…

Not the picture I was going to post today…I had a great shot of a rabbit in the local graveyard…unfortunately, for the second time recently, I hadn’t put the SD card in and so didn’t get anything…so popped out into the garden and spotted this bee…
