I finally got chance to go back to Mundon to photograph the frozen oak trees there with my tripod. I was just settling down to photograph these when the landowner drove across the field and threw me off…in his words he was”really pissed off”! There is a clear sign telling
I’m still 4th in the Flickr competition I take part in…and here comes the subject I have been dreading ever since the heavens opened a couple of days ago…Bone Dry. As everything outside is now sodden I have had to try and think up something that fits the brief indoors.

It started raining while we were out and about last night, and with the odd half hour here and there it pretty much hasn’t stopped since. Not a bad thing as we have been short of rain for the last month or two, but irritating when you need to take

Visited Walton on the Naze again today to shoot the Pill Boxes slowly being consumed by the North Sea. More images below…
