I should learn this lesson really, don’t shoot through a rain smeared, double glazed window and expect anything sharp to come out! That said, it’s actually come out quite painterly…which is something I guess.
Another new bird to us in the garden today, we believe this is a Mistle Thrush (Turdus viscivorus) and we think we have heard this one singling and clicking over the last few days before we actually saw it today. Always nice to see a bird you haven’t (knowingly) seen
To get to the Roger Albert Clarke Rally Kielder Carlisle Stages all the entrants have to drive up the B6357 on their way to the Kielder Forest where racing takes place. This meant we had around 102 rally cars, many of then vintage vehicles, passing our house on Saturday morning.
