The sheep in the local area have started lambing over the last week or so. Here is one overworked mother with triplets!
Shortly after taking this shot we had another fly by from a couple of Chinooks (see here for an earlier visit). I noticed as they flew past that the back of the helicopter was open – you can probably just about see the gunner sat at the rear with, presumably, his machine gun at the ready.
Perhaps they were keen to have some lamb for Easter 😉
