Tricky to publish a window or reflection shot, when you haven’t taken a shot that actually meets that criteria…so you just cheat! Good old photoshop!

We had a photowalk around London today with Bishop’s Stortford Camera club…it’s 23.56hrs and I need to publish 1 of 300 odd images…I haven’t looked at them all yet…so you’re getting this one! It’s a Green Parakeet in Hyde Park, London, if you are wondering – expect to be seeing

A day of rain…great, I’ll get out there and there’ll be loads of puddles and water with reflections and It’ll be easy…rain stops, go out 30 minutes later…all water has disappeared…it’s still pretty warm and there’s quite a breeze…so instead I tried a bit of focus stacking on this magpie

It had got to 10 o’clock this evening and, for one reason and another, I hadn’t been able to get out with my camera so it was out with the some props to make a picture…and it (kind of) fits the reflection theme for this week (certainly fits the theme

On my early morning walk around Dunmow today there was a great mackerel sky. I photographed it all over the place but haven’t really done it justice. This is how it looked over Parsonage Green.

A new category was plucked from the bag of choice today and my wife selected “Windows and Reflections” as the next category for me to ignore for the next week or so… We took a walk around Quendon and Rickling Green this afternoon and I saw this church window with

I’ve seen this shot done many times and thought…”Well, how hard can it be to do that?” Let me tell you, it was a lot harder than I expected and I wouldn’t normally have even published it…but it’s been raining all day so I haven’t been able to get out

I walk past the graveyard on my morning walk around Dunmow. Today the sun popped out just as I was walking past and the light on the tree was great…I then spotted the long dead roses and made this picture. The roses were really quite crispy…but in the final image
