A day of rain…great, I’ll get out there and there’ll be loads of puddles and water with reflections and It’ll be easy…rain stops, go out 30 minutes later…all water has disappeared…it’s still pretty warm and there’s quite a breeze…so instead I tried a bit of focus stacking on this magpie feather. This shot is made up of 7 separate shots and the aim is to get everything in focus…did I succeed…well, not quite – there are still a couple of spots that are out of focus…which, from 7 shots all focused on different spots on the feather is pretty annoying!
