Always good to see something being put to more than one use, however, I’m not sure this hybrid water hydrant sign come post box is in the best of positions…that said, I can confirm it did have mail in it!

Walking around Doctors Pond in Great Dunmow I noticed some pretty flowers in bloom in some of the gardens that adjoin the pond. This is a black and white version of the shot – if you are interested I have included the original colour version of the photograph…which I liked,

The bullocks were very curious as to what I was up to as I walked past them this morning…despite the fact that they see me about three times a week on the same walk…they’re not very bright!

I have photographed our local pond – Doctors Pond – many times, but this is the first time I have photographed it in many months…I have no doubt you will see this sight again a few times over the coming months!
