Popped down to Alton Water this lunchtime and grabbed some shots…got back to a broken computer so this is the only shot I have processed so far.

I had a drive up the A120 with a vague idea of photographing some of the industrial buildings there. Everything was gated off so I ended up in Rayne and the Flitch Way. I wandered down the Flitch Way and came across the old Rayne Station looking very nice.

I’ve not seen many wasps at all this year – this is only the second one I have been conscious of seeing this year.

Another shot grabbed from a quick run out at lunchtime – I managed to dodge the showers…just about, to grab this view from the top of the hill at Flatford…I’m looking forward to seeing this again in better weather.

After yesterday’s disappointing picture I was a lot happier with todays effort. I enjoyed the three swans heading in one direction with the four Canada Geese heading in the opposite direction appearing to be the only traffic heading under the bridge…of course, this is the main river channel into Ipswich,

Sometimes I’ll take a risk, today that was one of those days, I took just two pictures…both were pretty rubbish…sorry about that 😉

Back to work after my short break and I popped across the River Stour to Mistley which is adjacent to Manningtree. I had no idea there were so many swans here – in this picture you can only see a tiny fraction of the swans that are in the area…literally

Whilst I was busy enjoying myself in Blackpool, Debbie was busy creating more of her Miss Foxes that have been so popular on Etsy. So I returned home and was immediately put to work photographing them…only one of them would look at the camera 😉 If you are interested her

Beards are definitely popular again. To be fair, the guys in Jaya The Cat have always had beards (certainly for the last 4 or 5 years I’ve been following them) and they wear them well 😉

When I took this picture on the Saturday of the Rebellion Festival I was literally dripping wet…having left the hotel some time earlier I was regretting my choice of shorts and a tee shirt after the torrential downpour those clouds had just unleashed on me…it was mild and blowing a
