Whilst looking for a tape measure at work I found this interesting contraption in the workshop. It’s actually upside down in the picture and is used for extracting microchip boards out of boards…or something like that – I was told but wasn’t really paying attention 😉
This photograph cost me a lot of money! The aim of todays shot was a long exposure to get lots of streaky clouds…but I couldn’t get a long enough shutter speed even with my 10 stop ND filter…so I’ve bought a 16 stop ND filter to go with it –
We took a walk around Garnetts Wood in Barnston this morning. We’d been looking out for fungi but had seen very little until, near the end of the walk we came across this mushroom city…there were an awful lot of mushrooms growing from a recently fallen tree.

After a few days of flat grey skies we had a really nice day today and I visited Flatford…home of Constable’s Hay Wain. I set off towards Dedham down the River Stour, there were plenty of people rowing up and down, The young couple on the right had got themselves
Popped out at lunchtime to Dedham, just inside Essex, but right on the Suffolk border. I made it as far as the first car park and saw just a tiny portion of the village. It looks a lovely place…even in the dreary misty grey light that we had all day
