I’m glad to say I didn’t see any wierd politicians running through this field this morning 😉 I colour corrected this image but then reverted back to the out of camera cooler colours that my camera decided were what we saw because I actually prefer this version.

I’ve been warching the growth of this “weed” for a few weeks now. Absolutely no idea what it is but I knew it would make a nice macro shot. For a little bit of difference I’ve used some bracken to difuse the image which I think works quite well.

It poured down at lunchtime today, just as one of the local squirrell’s came visiting. S/he took shelter on the door of the garden shed.
We took a stroll around the Fowlmere RSPB site near Cambridge today and, as has been standard through much of the year, I took along my Macro lens to photograph some of the bugs around the place. It’s a really lovely place, with super clear chalk springs feeding the streams
