So, I’ve taken over 3,000 photos today, and, whilst I haven’t yet looked at each of them, I have yet to find a decent one! Why so many? Well I decided to make a timelapse video whilst also, hopefully, get a single shot of a community of birds. We have literally 100s of birds visiting our garden for the feeders Debbie puts out and they root around on the ground for dropped seed and the like, so I thought I could catch them pecking around using a fish eye lens…it didn’t work!
The leading photograph is a composite of about 20 of the images that actually had some bird action in it.

You wouldn’t believe the number of birds that were feeding here, they just did not trust the black box on the grass (it was on silent shutter so it wasn’t any noise it was making).
