This should be the last time for a while that we have a snow photograph as we have had a fairly large thaw since this morning when this photograph was taken.
I’ve taken this shot a few times but it’s never made the grade, until now. So here you have an abandoned log trailer. The track I use for our morning walks is owned and maintained by the Forestry Commission, indeed, we periodically see one of their staff who drives up here fairly regularly. She recently gifted me a high visibility jacket as I do have a tendency to wear all black and walk Jess before sunrise…not the most sensible of clothing choices. Anyway, they haven’t been felling trees in the Florida’s for a few years and this is a relic from when they were last here.
Whether they use it again when they restart forestry work up here I don’t know.
