Tuesday’s are often the hardest day to complete a daily photograph as I have work, tea and then straight out to Camera Club, it really doesn’t help when it absolutely pours down all day.

I had planned (I do sometimes think ahead, although not often!) to photograph the New England Aster again today as, on Sunday, when I was thinking about it, it looked like it may well bloom in time…the weather put a spanner in that dream. Nevertheless, when the downpour had reduced itself to heavy shower sort of levels I popped out and got this shot.

I was quite please that the flower had completely filled up with a drop of water and the colour of those petals is coming along nicely!
