064-365v4 Redwings & Fieldfare on Bigods Lane

We took our usual walk around our local area earlier today and saw the Fieldfare had arrived. They always turn up at this time of year on the fields around Bigods Lane in Great Dunmow. They are part of the thrush family and winter in the UK before heading north to breed.

Along with the Fieldfare there were also some Redwings (Turdus iliacus) (main image and below). They often flock together with Fieldfare whilst wintering and migrating.

The cloud was very overcast today so I broke out the Photoshop and used the replacement sky feature and used a sky from the same area that I took a few weeks ago at sunrise. The original sky can be seen below.
