I very nearly posted a very similar picture to last Friday’s today (see below). We had a reasonably nice sunrise this morning, although I had already gone past (and photographed) my normal tree before the colours came out, so I followed my own advise, opened photoshop and did a sky replacement with the sunrise sky I had photographed around 10 minutes earlier. You’d never guess. The sky replacement facility really is very good in Photoshop.
Anyhow, that’s not the image of the day, that belongs to this image of the majority of the tree that I have then duplicated, flipped and applied a ripple effect to in Photoshop to come up with this “reflection” image which is nicely abstract.
