005-365v4 Maple Magic

Today’s word of inspiration was magic. I’ve wanted to do one of those levitation shots a go, but there’s quite a bit of photoshop trickery involved in that (let alone having to do a selfie and all that faff) and it would take longer than the time I have tonight to do it.

I racked my brain and wondered if I could do something on the light pad I got for Christmas. I had some maple leaves that had come off the next door neighbours tree so dug those out and photographed them…I still wasn’t getting that magic vibe! I then thought I could try them through my software of the month – Topaz Adjust AI with the “Glow in the dark” setting, and volia, I had my image.

Below is the original shot and a second shot with a single leaf. The adjusted images remind me of jellyfish for some reason!
