We popped out for a visit to Anglesey Abbey this morning. Despite being grey and rather murky the place was rammed with people to see the snowdrops. We walked quickly round and then left to find something a little less crowded and drove across to Walpole Hall. Whilst the car park was equally thronged, because the grounds are substantially more expansive it’s reasonably easy to get away from the worst of the crowds and enjoy a pleasant walk.

Last time we visited the folly was under repair and covered with scaffolding, so it was nice to see it in all its glory this time.
