150/365v3 – Gherkins

As a young boy I had a friend who I used to go and see occasionally with my Mum. One of the real highlights of these visits were the pickled gherkins. For some reason we never used to have these (at least not in the early to mid 70’s) at home and I used to love the tangy crunch you got with them, plus no one told me at the time that they were actually cucumbers in disguise 😉

Still enjoy them to this day!
