Mistley Towers are the twin towers of all that’s left of the now demolished Church of St. Mary the Virgin at Mistley in Essex. I had no idea such a thing existed so it was quite a surprise when I saw this for the first time on my last visit to Mistley a few weeks ago.

I wasn’t actually planning to come here but ended up having a bit of a drive around at lunchtime and somehow gravitated here.
