093/366 Don’t you step on my black suede shoes

As Carl Perkins and, more famously, Elvis Presley, nearly sang.

I saw Stiff Little Fingers in London on Friday. I haven’t been down the front at a concert for a good 2 or 3 years so thought I was safe wearing my relatively new shoes… I spent the entire evening bouncing off other middle aged blokes who should know better down the front and had an outrageously good time.

The shoes, sadly, did not come out of it well.

I’ll spare you a shot of the completely ruined front of the shoes – here’s a shot of the back side of the shoe showing the famous Fred Perry logo that accompanies them. Still, at least I now have a worn in pair of concert shoes for next time 😉
