We had stir fry the other night and the colours of these red peppers and spring onions just caught my eye.

A little short of inspiration today so had a go at the pot-pourri that sits on our dining room table – got some nice textures with the macro lens. Looking forward to getting out and about at the weekend.

Whilst rooting around the house looking for something to photograph for my 365 project I came across my brother-in-laws school hymn book. This begged two questions. So, today was camera club night and we were to do some still life studio work under lights. Daily photo in the bag I thought. Well…photos were taken and it was an enjoyable evening, but I thought I’d spare you the mince pies, holly and Christmas crackers that we photographed.

Things are now starting to build up for me. Work is getting pretty busy, I’m doing this 366 project, I’m entering my first competition in the Bishops Stortford Camera Club and, today, I start work on the IDM Certificate of Digital Marketing. This year will be a year of learning!

Having had a few days of dreadful weather, today was beautiful sunshine all day. My plan was to pop out from work at lunchtime and go down to the River Stort to take some pictures…work had other plans for me though. So, back home I had a couple of ideas

This was far harder to photograph than it should have been what with clearing away all the knitting on top of the stereo unit to find the old record player under an inch of dust. Was surprised when the record player worked straight away…but then couldn’t find any vinyl! Half
