We are lucky enough to have a large area of lavender in our back garden. We didn’t plant it there, it just arrived one year and we have enjoyed it every year since…as have the local hoverflys, amongst others 😉

I found this old circuit board, which was for an old amplifier I had, in a cupboard earlier today. I spent some time taking some close up shots and, as often happens with macro work, these two characters appeared.

I really struggled for a subject tonight. I tried washing up bubbles and then knitting before I decided on the subject. I used 3 different lenses to try and get what I wanted but that didn’t work either. In the end I fell back on my newly cleaned and restrung
