I took a walk around Little Easton this afternoon, or at least the countryside that surrounds Little Easton. This field has the River Chelmer flowing on the right hand side, but it was the sky that I knew I had to capture…I do love skies like this.
It was a rather grey and dull day in essex, but we spent an hour or so walking around Rowney woods this afternoon. The sky was quite uninteresting but using some HDR techniques defined the clouds rather more and I quite like the repetition of shapes between the sky line

I took a stroll around Dunmow this afternoon/early evening. The forecast had said we’d have sunny spells all day…I don’t think we saw the sun at all…but it was nice and warm. I ended up down by the Rover Stort and grabbed the brackets for this HDR shot.

We visited Thorndon Country Park today and had a long walk around it. There are some lovely wood sections, but I’m always a sucker for a view and their were some great ones out towards Kent. This was an HDR shot that I then dabbled with both the oil paint
