Dunmow High Street surprisingly “busy” at just before 9 in the evening on a cold Sunday winters night coming up to Christmas.

That title finds my tongue firmly in my cheek, however, within 30 mins of my wife placing this item with attendant photographs in her Etsy store it was snapped up…if only everything was as simple as that 😉 If you are looking for some handmade knitware or some decorative figures

My wife put the Christmas decorations up earlier this week, including this Tomte that she made.

I like detail shots, but I’m not good at either seeing them or capturing them, so I am really trying to force myself to find these types of shots. I was quite pleased with this one from my walk down at Lower Holbrook today.

There used to be a swan sanctuary in Mistley so you always get a large selection of swans marching around on the road side but it was these greylag geese (Anser anser) that I particularly enjoyed this lunchtime.
