The Church at East Bergholt in Suffolk was due to have a bell tower built in 1525, however, due to a lack of money this was never completed so a bell cage was built in 1531 to house the bells – this image shows the bells within the cage – below is an image showing the bell cage and the main church building. The bells are still rung every week.
