Following up from yesterday’s image of the silhouetted gull, by chance I captured these 2 pictures of a passing raven today: I’m delighted to report that he wasn’t flying in circles 😉

A second black & white photograph for you today, taken a couple of days ago in Fyfield. This seagull decided it was time to fly home, even if that meant heading straight into a storm.

We drove out to Radwinter End yesterday to have a look around Bendysh Woods. On the way we drove through some heavy rain but were heartened to see we were heading into better weather. On arrival the sun was bursting through and we walked into Bendysh Woods. These are clearly

We visited Rowney Woods again today and saw loads of wildlife including a muntjac deer and a small group of fallow deer – needless to say, none were to keen to be photographed! The dragonflies were out in force and there were plenty of other smaller creatures including this Forest

I popped out to Thaxted again to capture the sunset…one day it won’t be so cloudy…anyhow, I took this photograph of the setting moon coming down over the Almshouses and graveyard – it looks straight out of a fairy tale.

I don’t know, perhaps there’s a perfectly good reason, but why would there be just one brick out of place in a 20 foot wall? I don’t suppose anyone will have noticed the lyric this time 😉
