On The Beach at Aldeburgh

We ventured outside the county borders today and had a trip to the seaside. We originally intended visiting Southwold, indeed we got to Southwold, drove into the absolutely packed car park and drove straight out again, the place was thronged! So, we pottered down the coast to Aldeburgh. Aldeburgh was also pretty thronged…but not quite so badly as Southwold!

We had some excellent fish and chips followed by a very nice ice cream 😉 Whilst eating the ice cream I took this picture which kind of encapsulates many facets of the British seaside.
