So, it’s the start of a new theme today for me to periodically ignore. Out of the hat today was “Signs”…I’m not sure what I was thinking when I chose to select that one as a theme! Not to worry, to start the new theme off here’s two signs at
Poor weather is a pain, but with it you will usually get some striking sunsets – this evening was no exception.
A few months ago I took a shot from the works car park – here’s another shot from a slightly different angle to catch the rather nice sunset we had after a day that had been quite dismal.

A small group of hardy Bishop Stortford Camera Club members braved the inclement weather and visited Hatfield Forest for the last of the summer programme get togethers. It was cool and pretty blowy…but the clouds did eventually start to break up for the first time of the day.
I had a walk around Doctors Pond in the evening, it was surprisingly cool. The sunset wasn’t up to much, but turning around the clouds were picking up some nice colours.

Having just got rid of the fair, Great Dunmow is now home to the Circus. After a busy day at work with no time to grab a shot I thought getting a shot of The Big Top would be just the thing, and throw in a bit of a sunset
I received a request via the web site from a lady in Australia who was looking for any shots of Bigods Farm and house as she is related to a John Jenour who was apparently given Bigods by Henry VIII.
