Moving into the early morning of my overnight photography adventure through London I lost all my companions…no staying power. So I caught the first DLR from Bank and took a quick dash across to Canary Wharf where I collected the following images:
We had a good walk around London during the early hours taking in Brick Lane and much of the City before heading back to Tower Bridge.
After spending an hour or so on the North side of the Thames overlooking the Shard we crossed to the South side and walked down towards Tower Bridge…we’d be seeing a fair bit of Tower Bridge over the next 14 hours.

A cold morning in the back garden saw a few frost shots taken with the macro lens. The macro tends not to get a lot of use in the winter, so nice to break it out for a change.
Some pretty bland shots of the Christmas Tree transformed into something a little more interesting with a quick Photoshop twirl.
Our local Tesco petrol station consistently overcharging for petrol for many years! They are the only (proper) petrol station in town so can pretty much name their price. Simple supply and demand economics or price gouging? You decide!
This is one of my excuses for a duff photo for today. I need to get this all cleaned up pronto or Debbie will not be happy! Bloomin’ Christmas!
