Stepping away from the black and white unite project, we went out for a very pleasant spring walk this morning and saw plenty of spring blossom around…so here’s a small selection.

A continuation on the theme…I rather like this one. Some good leading lines and, I hope, some atmosphere. This was done with a long shutter speed and the whole image was lit by a torch with a bit of light painting (which I haven’t done for ages).

Some blue sky on my morning walk amd this Blackbird was having a good old sing song as I walked past.

We took our usual walk around our local area earlier today and saw the Fieldfare had arrived. They always turn up at this time of year on the fields around Bigods Lane in Great Dunmow. They are part of the thrush family and winter in the UK before heading north
