We had a good thick fog in Great Dunmow this morning, it was pretty chilly as well, but the grey heron was on Doctors Pond and the fog hid a lot of the parked cars to the rear of the pond, as did the panorama crop I gave the image.
This grey heron is a regular visitor to the pond, plucking out tasty delicacies periodically, there are plenty of fish in the pond, so he won’t run out very soon. As you will probably be able to tell, it was a little foggy this morning!
Unusually (?) I’d left my photo of the day to the last moment, took some macro shots, got them on the computer, and they were dreadful. So, I rummaged around ny desk and found my facemask…”not photographed that before”, I thought…so here you go, it reminded me of the way
OK, it’s Co-Op own brand, cheapest I could find coffee beans because they are just props, so yes, I’m going to use them…a lot, before they go off…Do coffee beans go off? They smell great at the moment though. And yes, it’s a bit of a cliche, but it’s good

Coffee, coffee, coffee, we all need coffee! I completely forgot to post this on the blog – it was on Flickr, but somehow didn’t make it here. Anyhow, that’s rectified now!
Sometimes you just need a bit of time off and I got my shot first thing this morning…so that’s what we have for today. The nice thing is I haven’t shown this particular pair of trees since week 3 of the project so I feel enough time has passed. Also,

It was another cold one this morning when I ventured out with my new teeny tiny Sony RX100 for the first time. I have to say, I’m really impressed with the quality of the images from such a small camera. This was a 3 shot HDR (via Lightroom)…I’m not convinced
AKA Draining the vortex of coffee As it’s Day 100 I thought it appropriate to do another in the Black and White Unite series…I am missing a crucial ingredient to this shot…it’s on order, so expect some more of the same to follow shortly
