The occupiers of the barge did seem to be having a great time on the Canal as they rather zig zagged down Regents Canal in London.

Leaving Regents Park you can walk down Regents Canal towards Little Venice. There are some serious mansions down this part of the canal, the juxtaposition of the multi million pound houses and this slightly down at heel barge (more tomorrow) quite struck me.

Continuing our look at St John’s Lodge Gardens in Regents Park, London we came across this statue called Shepherdess by C. L. Hartwell RA for Gertrude and Bertie Weaver 1931.

Continuing our walk around Regents Park on the London Photo Walk this weekend we were taken a little off the beaten track and visited the St John’s Lodge Gardens. These gardens were created as a place ‘fit for meditation’ and they certainly fulfil that brief – a really peaceful oasis

We took part in the London Photo Walk yesterday -we had a good look around Regents Park and Little Venice. So, we’ll start at the start – here’s a black and white image of one of many fountains in the park.

Along with the Geese at Doctors Pond in Great Dunmow, you also have the ducks…introducing Mr Mallard and Mrs Mallard…

You may recall our last post about the Canada Geese that frequent the Doctors Pond here in Dunmow, and I mentioned they liked to have a good go at each other. Well, here’s a good example taken earlier this year.
