Captured on Sunday on the London Photowalk around Hampstead Heath – it’s the shapes created by the stamen(?) that particularly caught my eye.
Tied to the little dock I was taking photographs from was this far from impressive boat. Once upon a time I’m sure this will have been zipping around the lake, but now it is slowly sinking into it.
Still at Leeze Lodge Lakes, I saw this picture as I was heading back to the car. The problem with this type of picture is the moon always looks a lot smaller when photographed than it did when you were there – mainly because your eye continually compensates and changes

The original home of the Flitch Trials, Little Dunmow is located about 4 miles from Great Dunmow and, as the name implies is substantially smaller. Today’s picture was taken on Saturday evening as the sun set. The picture was taken, looking out from the Little Dunmow Priory Church.
