This wasn’t supposed to be today’s picture. I took a number of shots of my wife’s new product…but the pictures have been embargoed because she is doing a special launch of them…and I can’t give the game away! I have taken a similar shot of a cowl earlier this year.

I took a walk around Little Easton this afternoon, or at least the countryside that surrounds Little Easton. This field has the River Chelmer flowing on the right hand side, but it was the sky that I knew I had to capture…I do love skies like this.
It was a rather grey and dull day in essex, but we spent an hour or so walking around Rowney woods this afternoon. The sky was quite uninteresting but using some HDR techniques defined the clouds rather more and I quite like the repetition of shapes between the sky line
Well, there was always a chance of this…in the end 75% of our team went today…sad day – but new opportunities are just around the corner!
Popped out into the garden to find one of the double tulips we planted back in October/November (when I say “we” I do, of course, mean Debbie!) had burst into bloom – with my extensive knowledge of plants I wasn’t expecting this explosion of petals, so that was a bonus.
Two views, same day out of the same window, I loved the cloud in the earlier shot and the moon (non-eclipsed) in the second shot so decided to make a diptych.
The bluebells are well and truly out in Essex now. These were taken in a small wooded area around Quendon this afternoon. A few more picks after the break…
