A quick trot into Clavering Church today…I took loads of shots, but really didn’t like any of them, so you get this rather disappointing effort…

Today’s been the first day for a while that I haven’t had a picture by dinner time. So Badger, ensconced on his new favourite place got the full treatment…sadly the radiator behind him rather spoilt the picture…but we sorted it out eventually.

We both work from home (lucky us) and all was well this afternoon until all the power went out. It’s always somewhat relieving to discover that it’s the whole town that is without power…but annoying when all the shops, including the Post Office, have had to close becasue noting works.

I ventured out first thing this morning into a rather dark and overcast morning and took a walk around Doctors Pond. I was surprised to find a pair of Barnacle Geese, which I haven’t seen here before – they don’t normally get this far south and east in the UK

We’ve had a leaking radiator at home so we have had to be sparing with the heating as when you turn it on water sprayed across the room…we had the plumber in today to fix it…just in time for the weather to warm up again tomorrow. Still, it was nice

Another day trip to Great Yarmouth allowed me 10 minutes before my meeting to trot onto the front and photograph the windfarm in the distance.

Got out for a walk this afternoon, we were a bit late setting off and the sun was just setting as we walked round Garnetts Wood in Barnston. As usual we passed the wooden statue of Geffrey Garnet, a knight, who was given the woods by the King in the 12th

After 3 days of mobile photographs it was nice to get back to my “proper” camera. We had a camera club meeting this morning and as we left I notice this blue fork in the garden. When I processed it I decided to have a go at that colour popping

Having spent much of the week in London I know exactly how our cat Elijah felt on Friday evening…there was not going to be much action…so this mobile shot converted in Topaz Impressions will have to suffice for my photographic endeavours for the day.

This was the view from the balcony of the UK Security Expo on the last day about an hour before the event finished
