More cuteness from around Doctor’s Pond this morning…plenty more pictures after the break…

There was a deer there…honest! Glorious weather here and it was lovely and cool in the woods…and really quiet, loads of wildlife about, the local buzzards were very active as were the woodpeckers.

It was a beautiful morning in Great Dunmow today, just after sunrise with the mist still lingering across the fields viewed from the top of Beaumonts Lane…lovely start to the day.

It was all happening down at Doctors Pond this evening…with the first batch of ducklings having arrived not long ago. Whilst it took a while I can report that this youngster worked out how to get out of the pond and rejoin mother…after a few attempts of attempting to leap

This bullock kept a very close eye(s) on me as I walked pat this morning…

I wasn’t expecting the quite thick mist that greeted me this morning, but it was a mild morning and spring certainly feels like it’s in the air…the oil seed rape is already flowering and there is an abundance of blossom around Great Dunmow at the moment…

We had a 3 centre day today. We visited RHS Garden Hyde Hall in the morning – I had won a couple of free tickets to visit in the Essex Big Day Out. We then took a walk around Hanningfield Resevoir (where today’s shot of the squirrel comes from) and finally we
