A quick out-take from an evening visit to Copped Hall near Epping this evening with the Bishop’s Stortford Camera Club.

I’m 50 this year…my Mum still buys me a tube of Smarties for Christmas, as she has since I was a child…and I’d complain bitterly if she didn’t 😉

I visited the Boat Show at Excel today with work…there’s some money sloshing around that exhibition! I popped out to catch sunset down the Thames towards Canary Wharf in a 5 image panorama.

Well that was all a disappointment…Snow, Snow, Snow, ran the headlines, weather warnings galore…and we go about a mm of snow – admittedly, there would have been much more if the rain that preceded the snow by about 3 hours had arrived later…then we would probably have had something to

He doesn’t often allow me to take his picture, especially not close up, so I was very honoured that he sat still and let me get in his face!

Some more bulb work here following my earlier electric light bulb shot the other day…there may have been some Photoshop shenanigans going on again 😉

Our regular visit to Rowney Woods was very pleasant in the very mild weather we are having at the moment. There was just a little bit of mist that hadn’t burnt off which gave the light a really nice softness. More pictures after the break

…poached, boiled or fried… If you ever listened to The Jam, you might recognise this…otherwise, it’s just a bowl full of eggs 😉
