After a few days of baking sunshine we came back down with a bump and loads of rain today. Unfortunately, we missed out of the forecast thunder storms, but at least the umidity has cleared and the temperature has dropped significantly, hopefully meaning we can have a good nights sleep

…most softly lulling to my soul John Keats I’ve walked past a corner of cultivated poppies many times without actually noticing them, either that or the recent growth has been spectacular.  Perhaps there needed to ne more dancing for me to notice them.
