My first attempt at light painting on a larger scale. This is the Shell House in Hatfield Forest.

Sunset on a frozen Hatfield Forest lake. The ducks seemed quite happy sitting on the ice – there was a thawed our area of water to the right, but it was pretty crowded and had a couple of swans lording it over the ducks.
This Canadian goose demonstrates the excellent insulating properties of a feathery down ;-). Taken on Doctors Pond in Great Dunmow, Essex
Another shot from the sledging that was going on in Great Dunmow yesterday.
Doctors Pond was the venue for the local kids (and parents) to gather for some sledging. It was a real pleasure going through the pictures when I got back seeing the intense pleasure all the kids were getting from zooming down the hill. As you will gather from this shot
The snow we were all promised didn’t really materialise overnight. What little we had is shown here on a rather frozen Doctors Pond.
These planes really do come low over the A120 at Stansted. It’s best not to think about what might happen whilst you stand here taking photographs 😉 This shot is actually made up of 2 photographs. One of the A120 and landing lights and a second of the plane merged
It was all happening at Stansted airport this evening. This is the 17:20 arrival from who knows where coming in.
