I popped on a couple of accessories onto the macro lens today and was rather pleased with the results. This has a 36mm extension tube along with the Raynox M250 magnifying lens on the Nikon 105mm macro.
This is a hoverfly on an echinacea and the petals make a great colourful backdrop with the green leaves. It’s been very overcast all day so we have also had very soft light which has enhanced the saturation of the colours.
