106/366 Speedwell in West Wood, Thaxted

We visited West Wood near Thaxted today and saw a number of flowering plants including some early orchids, violets and primroses and this – which we believe (but could be wrong) are Speedwells. A weed, but a pretty weed 😉

Thanks to Buckeye on Flickr who has advised that this is in fact Cuckoo flower (lady’s smock)
