Horrendous weather here in Scotland today, where we are in the Southernmost Borders was relatively light, we still had trees down and 4 power cuts through the day. Wind speed was around 74mph for round 4 or 5 hours from morning through to early afternoon since when the winds have dropped to a more manageable 20mph but periodically gusts up far stronger.
All this has meant we’ve been stuck indoors today. The normal morning dog walk is through a heavily forested area, I’m sure plenty of trees will have come down. We’ll see tomorrow morning. I had the presence of mind earlier during one of the power cuts to take this shot through one of our living room windows. It may not say wind, but it certainly shows inclement weather.
